Tip 1# Switch toothpaste. Start using a natural toothpaste that doesn't contain fluoride or too much tooth whitening because that can weaken your enamel.

Tip #2
If you want to whiten your teeth you can always use a much more natural solution. Baking soda. You can easily grab your tooth brush put some water and put a little bit of baking soda and brush for a couple of minutes. *Try doing this method once a month because like any other whitener out there this could damage your enamel*
Negative: Try to keep away from Crest whitening strips which have been proven to damage teeth. For example chemical burns, tooth pain if you have sensitive teeth, over bleaching and weaker teeth.
( Bleeding and swollen gums is one of the side effects from tooth whitening )
Tip # 3 Remember to always change your tooth brush every 3 months. When the bristles begin to show that they are worn out it's time to get a new brush. * Did you know that if you have a cold/flu it is recommended to change your tooth brush*
Negative: If you have braces you should change your tooth brush more often than people who don't (not really a negative) You can also reuse toothbrush by using them to clean (first clean the toothbrush so germs won't spread around)
Tip #4 Using salt and water to rinse your mouth helps fight bacteria and is also a great relieve for toothaches and sore throat. It is a natural and safe way to use as a good rinse.
Negative: Certain mouth washes can leave your teeth yellow or blue depending on the color of the mouthwash or some contain too much alcohol. It's best to keep away from these or only use them once a month. ( Too much alcohol can be a risk factor for mouth cancer)
Tip #5 Eat and drink healthy foods. If you want white teeth keep away from soda's like Cola and Pepsi which can satin your teeth. Always remember to opt for a healthier drinks like water or if you don't like plain water you can always have flavored water. Certain teas tend to also stain your teeth ( I love tea so this is hard for me) . Eating fruits and vegetables can also strengthen your teeth for example sardines, green vegetables, meat and tea.
( Doesn't this look yummy?)
Negative: Keep away from ice. Chewing ice can be damaging to your teeth, you can shock a nerve in your tooth which can lead to a root canal ( very pricey so avoid ice ). The reason behind this is because your mouth is warm and the ice is very cold.
(Unless you are willing to spend thousands of dollars go ahead but I don't recommend this)

This is the toothpaste that I've been using for over a month and it's wonderful. It's natural and it leaves my teeth white. (Ho-ray white teeth!)
