Exponentially Warming up the World (Readings from Sir John Houghton Cambridge University Press 2004)
Global warming is the main issue now a days in terms of natural science affecting the real world society. Many parts of the world are not experiencing the way they use to experience in their four seasons before. Large geographical part in Asia on the other hand are experiencing water flooding and El Nino respectively. With all these changes in climate, positive effect in humanity is far from possible. Clearly all the changes in climate that we experience today are all giving negative effect to the humanities' habitat. If we can only imagine exponentially and imagine what will happen to the world by 2060 if global warming is constantly increasing in its environmental threat. In my deepest imagination I can conceive that if climate is aggressive and radical against nature and its habitat I can say that human will gradually evolve by its nature.
From the core concept of Darwin that environmental ecosystem will affect the growth of the habitats of the world. To give a brief example of his theory that birds with the same species but in different geographical location differ slightly in physical features. Likewise studies will also prove that Asians living in US and European countries are fairer in skin complex compared to those Asian people who are living in humid and warm geographical areas in Asia. With these theoretical concept we can say that as climate will change in its present behavior today in a rapid manner, likewise human features will also change in the future. If the world will become a water world then maybe gills will be an added feature in our human body parts. Humans by nature will survive by itself but that will discriminate the non-dominant species. As of today, the issue of global warming is in a radical manner that in a sense it is already hurting the human nature.
Putting our garbage in the bin is not enough practice that will hold the normal world climate, what I’m trying to convey that radical climate change needs radical government policy change to at least save the remaining chances of human habitat. On the other hand if in the matters of world energy need, companies today are hungry of raw minerals to achieve their production quota and marketing sales. The problem of saving the climate will relatively deprive the production of modern technological materials today that humanity is also dependent in terms of their urban living. World government policies are also highlighted in the literature of Houghton. First, Montreal protocol connects to the ozone pollution control that everyone in the world is getting scared of, countries who are so conservative in preserving their ozone are political upset with those countries who are not in accordance with their conservative national guidelines. Second, is the Kyoto Protocol which was held in Berlin last 1995 that 1st world advance countries should take the lead in protecting the environment. The greenhouse gases covered in the Kyoto protocol are Carbon dioxide, Methane, Nitrous Oxide, Hydrofluorocarbons, Perfluorocarbons, and Sulphur hexafluoride. The mechanism of the Kyoto Protocol are compose of three emission reduction mechanism which are the joint implementation, the clean development mechanism, and emissions trading.
Late action is not even the right term to use in achieving the climate stability that we want to achieve. Radical government policy change Internationally from the national policy collaboration is needed to hasten the policy the soonest.
