This year’s TT100 winners represent outstanding examples of technologically excellent companies.
On November 26 the final winners of the 2015 TT100 program were announced. The selection of companies that received recognition in each of the categories left the adjudicators in awe of their passion, commitment and belief in people.
The TT100 Awards Program was launched in 1991 with the consent of the ANC Government-in-waiting in an effort to draw attention to the importance of developing a local culture of technological innovation and excellence. This program has evolved into one of the foremost business awards programs in South Africa, with an excellent image and impeccable credibility. It is now the showcase of technological excellence in South Africa. Founded by Prof Roy Marcus, the TT100 Awards programme has been recognising technological and innovation excellence in South African and global companies for more than 23 years.
The companies are evaluated using the TIPS™ model. This model assesses each company on how they have managed technology (T), innovation (I), and people (P), in the context of managing an organisation as a system. They undergo a challenging adjudication which causes each facet of the business to be carefully examined and scrutinised.
Entrants of the TT100 Awards Programme include a wide spectrum of operations across diversified industries. They exemplify those who through passion, perseverance and a highly developed sense of innovation, have defied all odds, and have become recognised as significant players in the local and global economy. These organisations are recognised as sustainable, high-performance operations.
