Organizational Knowledge Management; The Tacit of Knowledge Management Acquisition
Assumption University |
The transformation and the change of organizational knowledge infrastructure creates a gap between the actual business operation and the interpretation of the executed operation to the computer aided knowledge storage. As of this time many computer business programmers are trying to merge the actual nature of business operation to the usage of the computer and internet infrastructure. One reason for the computer business programmers that they are in a hurry in completing their projects is to catchup with the capital investments given by the organizations in completing the technology infrastructure. Many business organizations of today are spending much of their cash capital to the internet and computer infrastructure to join the bandwagon of internet marketing and now mobile internet marketing. Specific knowledge acquisition of the organization using the AI system can sometimes incur information errors that may deem ineffective in the future of knowledge integration and research development.
As such, the problem of tacit knowledge acquisition from the actual day to day business operation may not give the desired output of information for research purposes. A theory being referred (Paul T. 2005) is the Dynamic competence-based theory. The theory suggest that internal and external environment of the business will change independently that in such a way the synchronization of knowledge and information inside the business organization from the outside variables are sometimes not relative and relevant to the actual market operation and research. Indeed, the notion of tacit knowledge inside the business organization is always possible. On the contrary, is it possible that business organizations will not upgrade its technological tools? Knowing that the real external business operation is not in accordance with the internal business data knowledge programming and research? An analogy used (Paul T. 2005) to prove that technology advancement in information is necessary in any aspect of today’s civilization is the history of the battle of Trafalgar in 1805 between the Nelson Ship and the French and Spanish fleets. The history reveals that low technology equipment usage resulted to the defeat of the war.

High technology equipment will save time and double the energy and power to destroy its counterparts. Relatively, the theory relates to business and even politics of today. High technological infrastructure used in business and political campaigns of today will gain advantage in terms of time and energy. Finally, multinational organizations are maximizing and investing their capitals to make sure that the latest technology in communication for example will be an advantage to the organization’s overall operations.
