Arya the Lion Hearted Little Girl; A Storm of Swords Steel and Snow

Arya’s role in Game of Thrones portrays more of the family character of the Starks from the North. After their father was executed by the Lannister she is the only Stark that was able to look his father while the execution is going during that mid-day event in the capital.  When Arya start her travel escaping towards North her skills in sword fights was tested and her lion heart is put to the test. Many adult friends along the way to the north were amazed of her smartness and firmness of her heart characters like Greenbeard and Lord Beric. Arya asks the old warrior to take her to the Riverrun. Greenbeard likewise laugh and said that you are so precious to sacrifice yourself in the streets of thieves, Greenbeard further said, “you are like a golden squirrel precious for the thieves around the villages that we pass by”. 

On the contrary her sister Sansa, Sansa is more of sacrificing herself for the family like what she did in marrying the Lannisters. She is ready to give everything for the sake of her family. But Arya is rather ready to fight but not to sacrifice for the sake of her family.  In the later part of season five and six Arya starts to exercise her warrior skills by learning the art of war with magic and keeping herself anonymous to the public in the market place. Vengeance is always in the hands of Arya. She can take a person’s life through her fighting skills and techniques. But reading “A Storm of Swords (Steel and Snow)” Arya is still learning the education of survival in the streets. I as a reader is thrilled how George R.R. Martin nurtured Arya’s character as a firm little girl in dealing her emotions and fighting scenes along the way traveling to Riverrun with a heavy agony of her father’s death.  

George R.R. Martin would sacrifice main characters in the novel but not Arya.  What could be the big role of Arya in the next thrilling season of the War of the Dead? Lord Petyr Baelish can communicate and manipulate Sansa but not Arya.  Arya is always behind the political scene of the game of thrones but Arya can be an Assassin and the La Femme Nikita for the Stark Family. Lord Petyr Baelish is having ambitions of the throne but he has no direct legal rights to have it. Only Sansa can fulfill the political dreams of Lord Petyr Baelish that is why he is called Little Finger. Yet the smartness of Baelish cannot outweigh the character of Arya.  Then who can fight Arya in terms of her skills and mental toughness. 

Could it be that Arya is the next Queen of the North knowing that Sansa is so weak because Little Finger is always at her back playing her emotions?  And John Snow is also tainted with the love of the wildings and the Dragon Lady? Seriously….. John Snow should be dead but with the mercy of the witch lady keep him alive.  From the children of the Starks only Arya will not give her name “The Man has no Name” firm and fierce she can be the next Queen of the North.  The trying hard Boltons on the other hand always wants to get the attention of the Starks but only his dog will end the reign of the Boltons in the North.  Arya’s toughness in war continuous during her travel while her mental attitude even inspire her to end the life of her opponents “Whenever she looked at them, she remembered the taste of blood”.  Arya is like the mother of Dragons, Khaleesi of Khaleesar.  If Khaleesi the mother of dragons can soften the heart of Snow how about Arya’s Lion Heart?
