July Monthly Favorites
Hey Beautiful PL'S
Happy Friday!! I hope you all are having a great week. My week is going superb because I get to talk to you and share my July Favorites!
I did not post a June Favorites because to be honest I didn't use anything new. I had tons of new products but loved the regimen I was currently using. However, July in Alabama is very HOT (emphasis on hot) so I had to use products that stayed in place and were not heavy on the skin. I prefer to have nothing on my skin but I do have redness and my veins show through my skin so a thin layer of foundation or powder is perfect. My 5 Minute Makeup Products includes a routine that shows how I wear my makeup in the summer.
Further more, let's get into the July Favorites. I have a few fashion products -yeah- and a lot of beauty products.

Further more, let's get into the July Favorites. I have a few fashion products -yeah- and a lot of beauty products.
- My first favorite is the magazine Mujer, I love it because my girl Roselyn Sanchez is on the cover looking fierce. She is very popular on the Lifetime show Devious Maids. Mujer magazine is written in Spanish but you can translate. :)
- L'Oreal True Match Crayon Concealer - is ideal for the undereye but I love to use it as a base for my eyeshadows. I also use it to cover small acne spots on my face. It is on the thick side so I don't like to use it for my undereye area.
- Duo eyelash glue- I love to use the one with the application brush because it is not messy and dries very quick.
- L'Oreal Telescopic mascara- I use this in all of my makeup routines because it is perfect to divide and lengthen the lashes. The wand makes it very easy to coat the bottom lashes without getting mascara in the waterline.
- Nyx Brow Powder- is great to use to achieve those perfect brows. I love that it comes with wax to help each hair stay in place. The brushes are too small so I use a regular angle brush.
- Blending brush- OMG..I cannot say enough good things about this blending brush. It is amazing! I love that it is dense enough to buff out your shadows but also gentle enough so you don't loose all the product. I have used it to apply eyeshadow base, eyeshadows, and as a buffer. You can purchase off ebay here.
- Maybelline Baby Skin primer- This primer makes your skin look amazing. I do not have large pores so it really helps to erase the small ones. I only apply round my eyes, nose and forehead. (Tip: Allow to dry before applying foundation.)
- Salon Perfect nail polish in Flamingo Flair is the perfect peachy color. Perfect to wear by the pool or on the beach.
- L'Oreal Infallible Foundation- This has been a money saver and blessing all in one! I have always used Mac foundation or L'Oreal Trumatch. However, I have been reaching for this foundation instead. I love the coverage, matte finish and color. I wish it came in more shades for all of my PL's!
- BH Cosmetics Wild at Heart Pallet- This is one of my favorites palettes from BH Cosmetics, I love that you can use the shadows wet or dry to create your look. It includes 9 different shades ranging from gold to blue.
- Wet n Wild Cherry Blossom- I loved this cool tone color for the summer berry lip trend. Wet n Wild has really improved their lipstick and for only $1.49 you can't complain about that price!
- Nyx Eyeshadow Pigment- This is pure powder gold, well without the monetary value of course. Its perfect to use in the inner tear duct, highlight or as a shadow on the the lid. The pigments are only $2 bucks! (a major steal ladies)
- BH Cosmetics Pro Powder- This powder is very comparable to the Mac Studio Powders but it's a fraction of the price. For only $6, this is a product you do not want to miss. I love the coverage and the amount of product you get in the compact. You can wear this powder alone or as a setting powder.
- Wet n Wild eyeliner pencil in natural- Put down the white eyeliner and get this liner in natural. It is my go to liner for those mornings I want my eyes to pop or when I don't use black liner. Apply it to the waterline for that fresh face look. The white can be a little harsh at times especially for everyday use.
Hair
- I went to Ulta looking for a hair spray that left my curls looking shiny and healthy without weighing them down. The Organx B5 weightless misting oil spray is amazing. It is not greasy even though it is named a oil mist. I love how it makes my hair smell and look with just 3 pumps.
- Ok, if you have been following the PinkLuxpl blog since the beginning you know I have bragged about using coconut oil to keep your hair healthy. The Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula Deep Conditioning Protein Pack is one of the best treatments I have ever used on my hair and others. It smells amazing and leaves your hair moisturized, frizz free, shiny and bouncy. This product does not leave a residue or weigh the hair down. The only downside of this product is it only comes in single packages. :( Come on Palmer's make it in a tub or bottle (please). I found mine at Walmart for only $1.29. This will continue to be a favorite month after month.
Fashion
- I have worn this cute little clutch wristlet to all of my July events. I love the gold and tassel detail. It is the perfect size to carry your phone, lipstick, keys, business cards and breath mints.
- These Justfab laceup heels have been my go to heels for July. I LOVE the cutouts, straps, and gold detail cap. The heel is only 4 1/2 inches which is comfortable for long periods of standing or walking.
That was all of my July Favorites, I hope you enjoyed this post! What were some of your favorites in July? I would love to know below.
Until next time stay Lux... XOXO
