The Da Vinci Institute experiences high growth in 2015

The Da Vinci Institute focusses on the cultivation of managerial leaders by providing Certificate, BCom, Master and Doctorate programmes. These qualifications are awarded within the pillars of the Management of Technology, Management of Innovation, Management of People and Management of Systems (TIPS™). As a Mode 2 institution, the primary characteristic is the work based application of the knowledge creation. This allows Da Vinci to engage, align and become agile in co-creating new workplace realities with students and sponsors.

The first half of 2015 saw an increase in workshops being held as new students enrolled at Da Vinci. The students who enrolled came from various companies such as Saepa, JP Morgan, Investec and FNB. These new groups also included the Da Vinci Leonardo programmes which cater for students enrolling within their personal capacity. These groups focus on both undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications such as Certificate, BCom, Masters and PhD.

The Institute made an announcement recently after their second quarter report which took place at the end of June 215. The report revealed a significant increase in the amount of workshops held at the Da Vinci Institute measured from the period of January 2015 to the end of June 2015 and was compared with the same period in 2014.

The month of January in year 2014 and 2015 were identified as having 32 workshops. There was an increase of 10 additional workshops in February 2015 with an overall total of 25 workshops compared to 15 workshops in February 2014. March 2015 saw a total of 35 workshops compared to 24 workshops in March 2014. The months of April, May and June 2015 increased considerably in terms of workshops, also taking note of the majority of new workshops started.

The Institute is registered as a Private Higher Education Institution under the Higher Education Act 1997, registration no 2004/HE07/003. The Institute is also accredited by the Council of Higher Education and its qualifications are recorded with the South African Qualifications Authority.
