Subject Matter Expert Workshop: 3 December 2015
A Subject Matter Expert Workshop was held at The Da Vinci Institute on 3 December 2015. The purpose of this workshop stemmed from the concept of collaboration, association and synergy amongst individuals within a community.
The Institute aims at making the circle bigger by allowing the circle to become smaller, therefore bringing individuals strengths in order to co-create new realities.
The Institute, as a school of managerial leadership follows the Mode 2 approach of learning which links practical work experience together with the theoretical concepts. This approach allows associations to be formed with subject matter experts in various fields.
The workshop took a look at the Da Vinci Business Model, which was facilitated by Kenneth Mabilisa: Business Development Manager at The Da Vinci Institute. Furthermore, the Da Vinci approach to learning and development was also discussed.
Individual presentations by all attendees was then conducted as each individual had an opportunity to discuss where they could add synergy in terms of their expertise. The Da Vinci Strategic overview was then presented by Prof Ben Anderson: CEO of The Da Vinci Institute
