President Duterte; Moves like “James Bond” and Thinks like “Jack Bauer”
Those who are fond of watching movies and TV series you can really relate the finesse and smartness of our President Duterte and how he manage his diplomacy within our country and abroad. With his legal background as a lawyer he can out maneuver any legal case scenario to gain his momentum and eventually win the legal case. Moreover, since his career in politics he was never defeated in any election until his recent political campaign for presidency. I call him a combination of James Bond and Jack Bauer (From the TV series 24) because you will not know his political flanking until to the last episode. Some political bloggers and online writers they call President Duterte as a Political genius knowing that from all the candidates last election he is the only candidate coming from a lower office and he is also from the province.
I believe President Duterte is a God given gift to all the Filipinos today knowing that our country is having a pending territorial case against China. Any political negotiation will depend from our President and his legal and foreign affairs team how they will perform precisely what we want to come up. This matter is so delicate that to some political analyst will trigger political faction with other ASEAN countries and other allies. I believe this week the ruling of the UN will be revealed across the globe and whatever it takes (as Filipinos) we need to support our President as a country. Let us give our trust to our President but at the same time we need also to do our part as a citizen.
I believe it is now the time that we need to unite as a nation and claim our rights over our territory. As such, this week is a challenging political move for our President Duterte as to what extent he can claim our rights as a country. I believe local TV series in the Philippines are now surpassed with Duterte Serye because every week comes a new political surprise from our President. But to everyone’s note our President is not a fictitious “James Bond” or “Jack Bauer” that we see in TV, he needs our support and prayers in the coming days of his office. “Ang Sarap Maging Pilipino” and I believe in the saying…. “The Filipino is worth fighting for” .
