High Speed Train for High Speed Economic Performance; Duterte in Full “Throttle” for ASEAN 2016

The planned hitech railway links from Davao to other regions of Mindanao proves the visionary leadership of Mayor Duterte not only in Mindanao but also to the whole country Philippines and the ASEAN member countries. From my previous blogs I discussed the revival of the “silk road” in euro-asia and central asia were the concept of the old silk road will be used in our modern trading and supply chain of today. Some of the social media comments regarding the project of Mayor Duterte that his railway project in Mindanao is an old concept from other politicians, but I would say that his decisive approval will achieve the full realization of the project. In the concept of federalism, the railway infrastructure is an effective tool to transport economic goods across the country and beyond ASEAN member countries.

Some member countries now are also acquiring these hitech railway trains to hasten the economic logistics of all ASEAN member countries knowing that the volume of goods that will be delivered across ASEAN countries will increase due to the lowering of tariff and import duty tax. All of these brilliant ideas of Mayor Duterte will contribute to the theoretical concepts of world trading and lowering of commodity prices. In such manner, the local citizens of the country will enjoy the basic products of commodities required at hand without spending much of their financial resource. The high speed railway project of Mr. Duterte will not only be relevant to the country Philippines but it will jive the current ASEAN economic interconnectedness. As such, our country will be in full economic “throttle” as well.
